HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — No one was injured after a car went up in flames in Hanover Township.

Police say the SUV was traveling south on Route 309 with four people inside when the driver heard an explosion, then saw smoke coming out of the hood.

The driver then pulled over, and that is when the car went up in flames.

Hanover Township Fire Department quickly responded and was able to get the flames out quickly.
