PennDOT has implemented a long-term detour on Route 44 in Montour County due to damage from the recent flooding.
Motorists traveling on Interstate 80 are advised that the interstate’s westbound lanes are closed due to a tractor-trailer rollover. The incident occurred at mile 218 just west of the westbound rest area.
Motorists in north central Pennsylvania are advised there are multiple road closures this morning due to flooding or downed trees and utilities.

Motorists who travel I-80 in both directions in Montour County are advised that there will be short single lane restrictions between mile markers 215 and 224 due to pavement core patching beginning Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 9 PM through Friday, March 17, 2017 at 6 AM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the area.
Due to drifting snow, PennDOT has closed the following roads in Montour and Columbia Counties:

Motorists in Montour County are advised Interstate 80 eastbound is closed at mile 224 due to a multi-vehicle crash.
A detour is in place using Routes 254 and 54.

A PennDOT bridge crew will apply an epoxy coating to several bridge decks in Columbia and Montour Counties next week, August 15 through August 19, weather permitting. The bridge projects are at the following locations:

Motorists traveling on Interstate 80 are advised there is a lane restriction due to a vehicle crash in the construction zone on I-80 westbound at mile 227 in Montour County.
A backlog of traffic is developing. Motorists should be alert and watch for stopped or slow-moving traffic. The area should be avoided, if possible.
Weather permitting, line painting will begin Monday, July 11, on Interstate 80 in Columbia County. This work then will be on I-80 in Montour County on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and in Union County on Friday.
There will be moving lane closures while this work is being performed. Motorists should be alert and watch for slow-moving vehicles.
