DUPONT, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Traffic was backed up for most of the day on one part of Interstate 81 after a tractor-trailer caught fire.
Details are limited at this time, however, 28/22 News can confirm crews were called to a section of Interstate 81 Northbound near Dupont for a tractor-trailer fire.
Possible frost, flurries throughout PA overnight
Officials say the fire was put out just before 12:00 p.m.
It's unclear if anyone was injured or the cause of the fire.
The investigation remains ongoing.
EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — Residents in Central Pennsylvania with sensitive plants planted in their yards or pots may need to cover them as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a Frost Advisory for Monday into Tuesday morning.
The NWS reports a Frost Advisory is in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for a portion of Central Pennsylvania.

Temperatures are anticipated by the NWS to fall to the mid to low 30s which could result in frost that could harm sensitive outdoor plants.
