BEAVER TOWNSHIP, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities were called to battle a second-alarm blaze in Beaver Township on Sunday.
Columbia County officials say Beaver Township Volunteer Fire Company, the Main Township Volunteer Fire Company, and other crews were called to the 1400 block of State Road at about 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

MAIN TOWNSHIP, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A Columbia County man is dead after a fatal crash Saturday afternoon.
19-year-old Robert Halye from Bloomsburg died from fatal injuries of the crash.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, crews were called to PA-339 just after 4:00 p.m.
Troopers say Halve was traveling southbound on his 2024 Kawaski Ninja 500 on PA-339 and lost control going around a curve.
