SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — An area teen who was carrying a loaded gun near Scranton High School earlier this year has been sentenced to spend up to six years in jail.
16-year-old Sihayr Dickerson pleaded guilty to aggravated assault charges back in June.
Arrest made after Plains Twp. hit-and-run
According to police, he plotted to shoot a rival gang member before he was picked up outside Scranton High School in January.
The school was placed in lockdown and no one was injured.
