Road reopened after multi-vehicle crash in Scranton

LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A multi-vehicle crash that shut down a road near the Scranton and Moosic border on Friday morning has now reopened after a crash.

Around 11:30 a.m. Moosic Borough Police reported that due to a crash at the intersection of Pittston Avenue and Corey Street in Scranton, Pittston Avenue was closed, but has since reopened.

Police say northbound traffic on Birney Avenue was using alternate routes around the scene.
