15 banned from Pennsylvania casinos, gambling

(WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced 15 people have been banned from Pennsylvania casinos and online gambling after going against various laws.

Being placed on an Involuntary Exclusion List prohibits people from either gaming in a casino in Pennsylvania, via an online betting site regulated by the Board, or at a Video Gaming Terminal location.

The Board placed nine people on the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List, including three adults who left minors unattended while gambling in a Pennsylvania casino:

LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One of Northeastern Pennsylvania's most notorious killers has died.

Henry Stubbs was convicted of the brutal murders of a mother and her 6-year-old daughter in Luzerne County in 2001.

Prosecutors had sought the death penalty for Stubbs, but he was eventually sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison.

State Prison officials are investigating Stubb's death.

Two allegedly chased by knife wielding woman

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a woman was arrested after she allegedly chased and tried to stab two women with a knife.

According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on June 24, around 12:50 a.m., officers were called to Scott Street for a report of a woman attempting to stab several people.

Once on the scene, officers said the victims, ages 21 and 19, claimed that the suspect was chasing them around the residence while armed with two knives.
