On Tuesday, the Wayne County District Attorney, A.G. Howell, announced that multiple residents from Wayne County reported getting phone calls from someone claiming to be a Wayne County Sheriff.

Authorities say the caller tells the resident they missed jury duty and if they don't pay $3,000, they will be arrested.
