PSP hunt suspects after stolen vehicle crash on I-80/81

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The manhunt continues after the incident that resulted in the closure of parts of Interstates 80 and 81 near Hazleton. Police are searching for two suspects in connection with this incident. Two other suspects are already in custody.

It all began at about 4:00 a.m. in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County.

Police spotted a stolen vehicle from Beaver Meadows. It was stolen several days ago.

2 homeless shelters set to close doors in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two local homeless shelters are set to close their doors. One of the shelters is in Wilkes-Barre, the other in Scranton.

Emotions were running high at the Keystone Mission on Union Street in Wilkes-Barre Tuesday evening.

Many of the people who rely on this shelter have questions as to why it's closing and how soon.
