The Little League World Series Opening Ceremony starts Wednesday, August 13th, at 11 a.m. at the Little League Volunteer Stadium.

MIFFLINBURG — A rededication ceremony will be held for the historic Hassenplug Covered Bridge in Mifflinburg on Saturday.The Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society of Pennsylvania and the borough of Mifflinburg recently installed the two new historical markers at both ends of the bridge.The society is planning to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the bridge with a rededication ceremony at 1 p.m. Aug. 16 on the site located on North Fourth Street over Buffalo Creek in Mifflinburg Borough.
