(WHTM) - Penn State's star pass rusher Abdul Carter posted a cryptic message ahead of the Orange Bowl that appears to indicate he will play on Thursday night.
Carter posted a video on social media of Anakin Skywalker being transformed into Darth Vader with the caption "Revenge of the ST1X. St1xc1ty returns in 6 hours," a nod to his jersey number 11.
Carter had exited the Fiesta Bowl on New Year's Eve and returned to the postgame celebration with a wrap on his arm.

(WTAJ) -- More than 100 Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) were reported being seen in Pennsylvania in 2024, according to the National UFO Reporting Center.
The center's website allows people to report objects and lights seen in the sky in hopes someone can answer their questions and possibly identify what they saw.
Some possible identifications include drones, satellites and even Chinese lanterns being released nearby (click here to see video from Montgomery County).

(WAVY/NEXSTAR) – A Lego set stuffed with gun parts and a sunglasses case filled with snakes were among some of the top "catches” that officers with the Transportation Security Administration made in 2024, according to the agency.
This week, the TSA released a video detailing the “Top 10 Best Catches” of the last year, highlighting some of the strangest or craftily concealed contraband that passengers have tried to sneak through checkpoints.
“You won’t believe what people brought to the airport,” the agency wrote alongside a video showcasing the prohibited items.

SWIFTWATER, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police have issued a felony arrest warrant for a man who they say fled an officer, leading to a high-speed chase.
On January 7, police issued an arrest warrant for Gilbert Vasquez, 30, who was pulled over for a traffic stop for an equipment violation back on June 14, 2024. According to authorities, Vasquez then fled from the officer which resulted in a multi-officer high-speed chase.

PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pittston City Police Department is issuing a reminder to residents after an uptick in thefts of certain vehicles.
Police say they have seen an increase in thefts of Kia and Hyundai vehicles in the Greater Pittston and Wyoming areas.
Police say this is part of a nationwide trend that lets thieves start certain vehicles without having a key.
"Anyone who owns a Kia or Hyundai is encouraged to contact their dealer to inquire about security software upgrades that recently became available," police noted.

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say the autopsy results show the death of a Schuylkill County woman was due to natural causes.
Authorities say they do not suspect foul play in the death of Haley Noel Mills, 25.
Police say Mills was found dead on Monday around 2:30 p.m. at a home on Parkway Avenue in Schuylkill Haven during a wellness check by a friend.
