Three suspects arrested after armed robbery

SUNBURY, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Three suspects were arrested after an armed robbery in central Pennsylvania Tuesday afternoon.

Northumberland County District Attorney Mike O'Donnell says this started when police were dispatched to a house in the 500 block of Susquehanna Avenue for a reported armed robbery.

The Sunbury Police Department was called to the scene around 12:00 p.m. When they arrived, police found two individuals running from the back of the house.

Suspects of police chase apprehended in Connecticut

SAINT CLAIR, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The U.S. Marshalls have apprehended the remaining two juveniles in Hartford, Connecticut wanted for attempted murder of an officer that led police on a chase.

Pennsylvania State Police have 17-year-old Christian Guerrero and 17-year-old Jeremiah Begley in custody in connection with an officer involved shooting that sent troopers on a 40-mile chase.

Officials say they received information that the two suspects had fled out of state into Connecticut.

Man charged with shooting, killing neighbor's dog

NOYES TOWNSHIP, CLINTON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Detectives say they have officially charged a man for allegedly shooting and killing his neighbor's dog.

On December 16, 2024, Pennsylvania State Police were called to Clendenon Street in Noyes Township, Clinton County for an animal cruelty complaint.

The victim stated that he let his dog, an 11-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever, out and the dog never returned. A search for the dog led the victim to a neighboring property owned by Robert Wallish, who lives in Hummelstown.
