WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) - Utility crews have turned off power in downtown Wilkes-Barre due to a gas leak Wednesday night.
Firefighters told 28/22 News officials shut down power in and around the Wilkes-Barre area while they investigate a gas leak near Public Square.
Customers, businesses feeling impact of mall outage
According to PPL, over 3,700 customers across the Wilkes-Barre area were without power starting shortly before 9:00 p.m.

NANTICOKE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — 28/22 News is learning details about a police raid at an apartment complex in Nanticoke. Officers say it's connected to an ongoing drug investigation.
Police say the raid happened on the corner of Hanover and Noble Streets at around 1:30 p.m.
