WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Visit Luzerne County announced the summer concert lineup for their 2025 "Rockin' the River" concert series Thursday.
The concerts, which start in July, have become one of the county's most popular summer activities. The series started in 2019, and crowd sizes have ranged from 3,000 to 6,000 people for each show.
Rockin' the River will feature three acts that have never played at the venue in the past.

The Luzerne County Coroner's office confirmed with 28/22 News that 54-year-old Michael Walter died at the hospital after being hit by a car on April 14.
Emergency crews were called to North Pennsylvania Avenue and East Union Street in Wilkes-Barre just after 8:00 p.m. for a report of a person hit by a vehicle.
