Music lovers dig into vinyl records and CDs

PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Dozens of local music lovers are beefing up their record and CD collections. The Woodlands welcomed back the NEPA Scranton Wilkes-Barre LP Vinyl Record and CD Show.

Dealers from all over the northeast brought thousands of vinyl albums, 45's, and CDs to sell.

Attendees could get their hands on music of just about any genre.

Parents, players, and officials of the West Hazleton Youth Basketball League never expected their season to take a turn like this, but after a couple of recent developments, no spectators are allowed to watch the kids play.

Competitors faced the challenge of eating ten hot wings, 10 shot glasses of hot sauce, and also took the One Chip Challenge by eating eight spicy chips.

A former professional competitive eater was the only one to down all of that fiery food.

GLEN LYON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A local bar was damaged after a fire Saturday morning in Luzerne County.

According to Nanticoke Fire Department, crews were called to the unit block of Orchard Street around 4:30 a.m. at Lyon's Den Bar & Grille for a reported commercial structure fire.

Officials say that crews did arrive on-scene to a working fire, a second alarm was called in, and the fire was under control by 5:15 a.m.

EDWARDSVILLE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Edwardsville Police are attempting to identify a male who exposed himself to a child in a local retail store.

According to Edwardsville Police, this man is wanted for allegedly exposing and fondling himself in front of a seven-year-old girl at Name Brand Liquidations in the Edwardsville Gateway Shopping Center.
