SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It's National Walk to a Park Day and in Scranton, that's just what people did.

Valley in Motion partnered up with Trust for Public Land and the City of Scranton to hold a fun community walk.

Several events were held over the past week to celebrate the day.

Earlier Thursday, Scranton's Mayor read a National Walk to a Park Day Proclamation and gave a tour showing off ongoing improvements currently taking place at Nay Aug Park.
