WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Call it a celebration of diversity in downtown Wilkes-Barre. About a dozen or so groups danced down South Main Street for the city's Annual Multi-Cultural Parade and Festival.
Participants wore clothing that reflected their cultural background. Many people, including children, lined the sidewalks to watch.
After that, performers took to the stage and got the crowd moving with upbeat music.

HUNLOCK CREEK, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It definitely still feels like summer, but another local event on Saturday had another season in mind. Folks celebrated the coming season on Saturday in Luzerne County by taking part in a Fall Craft Fair.
Dozens of vendors set up shop at the Garden Drive-In. They displayed all sorts of seasonal items, including Halloween-themed artwork.
Organizers could not have picked a better day for the event, which brought out many vendors, including some first-timers.
One vendor revealed her inspiration behind crafting seashells.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Dozens of people are taking steps toward a world without seizures. Roughly 100 walkers made their way through Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday for the Annual Walk for Epilepsy.
About one in 26 people will be diagnosed with the disorder in their lifetime.
The walk through the years has helped raise funds for a community epilepsy center that opened last year in Kingston.
It serves as a site for a whole host of services to help families navigate challenges.
Man found guilty for murder of girlfriend

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police were out in Hazleton after a reported incident Saturday evening.
Authorities told 28/22 News that Hazleton City Police were called to the 1500 block of East Broad Street in Hazleton.
Officers placed police tape around the scene to close off the road.
28/22 News spoke with a neighbor who called 911 to report what he witnessed.
He said he heard gunfire shortly after 5:00 p.m. Then, when he checked to see what happened, he made a disturbing discovery.
