This is the wealthiest resident in your state, new Forbes report shows

(NEXSTAR) — While you may feel a momentary flush of wealth after receiving an "extra" paycheck in May, there are others continuing to amass millions and billions of dollars thanks to investments, entrepreneurship, and inheritances — including some in your own state.

Forbes has once again scoured the ranks of the richest people in America to find the wealthiest person in all 50 states. In all but three (Alaska, Delaware, and West Virginia), that title belongs to a billionaire. In five states, a new resident has overtaken the wealthiest citizen crown from last year's title-winner.

UPS to cut 20K jobs, close some facilities as it reduces amount of Amazon shipments

(AP) — UPS is looking to slash about 20,000 jobs and close more than 70 facilities as it drastically reduces the amount of Amazon shipments it handles.

The package delivery company said Tuesday that it anticipates making the job cuts this year. It anticipates closing 73 leased and owned buildings by the end of June. UPS said that it is still reviewing its network and may identify more buildings to be shuttered.

“Everybody has their own way of doing things. I’m lucky I grew up in a very Italian-rich environment where I learned how to cook at a young age,” explains Ron Augelli, the competition organizer at Family of Saint Ubaldo.

Corrections officer accused of sexual relationship with inmate

FRACKVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police have charged a corrections officer for allegedly having sexual relations with an inmate at SCI Frackville.

On January 30, State Correctional Institution (SCI) Frackville reached out to the Bureau of Investigations and Intelligence regarding the alleged sexual encounter between Corrections Officer (CO) Jocelyn Ebert, 25, of Pottsville, and an inmate inside the prison.
