(WBRE/WYOU) — The National Weather Service out of Mount Holly, New Jersey has issued snow squall warnings in several eastern Pennsylvania counties.
Snow squall warnings have been issued for Carbon, Lehigh, and Monroe counties until 4:30 p.m.

"At 3:40 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from Flatbrookville to near Hometown, moving southeast at 25 mph," the alert noted of the Carbon County squall.
Alerts for snow showers, some heavy, have also been issued for multiple counties in northeastern Pennsylvania.

According to the Hazleton City Police Department, on September 6, officers responded to a shooting on West 5th Street and North James Street.
Police say two unknown males approached a group of people in a car and opened fire.
During the investigation, police said they located and arrested the owner of the car fleeing the scene as 21-year-old Jeifry Del Rosario Del La Cruz, who is also the suspect in the shooting.
