(WHTM)-- Pennsylvania officials could conduct the first-ever review of every space owned or leased by the Commonwealth as part of an effort to eliminate costs.
During Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's budget proposal on Tuesday, Feb. 4, he said the Secretary of the Department of General Services would conduct comprehensive reviews of every space the commonwealth owns or leases.
Shapiro said this comes as a response to changes in the way the state government works, highlighting the need for more technology, hoteling space, and areas for collaboration.
