The release states that a 53-year-old man from Hartford, Connecticut is dead after a fatal hit and run crash occurred near mile marker 257 at around 2:30 p.m.
According to PennDOT, the closure was in the eastbound lanes between Exit 256: PA 93 - Nescopeck/Conyngham and Exit 260A: I-81 South - Harrisburg, but has since been reopened.
