Spreading love all across NEPA

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU)— This Valentine's day love was all around NEPA.

For some, it was about spending time with their loved ones enjoying a special meal, while others got creative and delivered a heartfelt gift to strangers. The admiration and appreciation go a long way this holiday.

Drinks were served and toasts were made inside River Grille in Wilkes-Barre to celebrate a day full of love.

Covered in red, pink and sparkly décor, the 'xo pop up bar' was the spot to be for lovers and families on cupid's holiday.

Gang violence prompts presentation in Scranton

SCRANTON (WBRE/WYOU)— With a recent rise in gang violence in NEPA-- the Scranton school district is taking steps to turn the tide.

Tomorrow morning, the school district will host top officials and hold a presentation for their students.

West Scranton High School is bringing in the FBI along with the U.S. Attorneys for the Middle District of Pennsylvania for a gang presentation to students in the Scranton school district.
