Charges against Stephanie Graul come nearly three months after her then 27-day-old daughter was hospitalized

Terence Ray, who was wanted in connection to the murder of Jessica Lockwood, was taken into custody early Thursday morning in Yonkers, New York, by U.S. Marshals.

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man wanted for the brutal murder of a Luzerne County woman remains locked up in a New York prison. Prosecutors say efforts are underway to bring 55-year-old Terence Ray back to northeastern Pennsylvania to answer to murder and other charges.

Ray is scheduled for an extradition hearing Wednesday morning that will determine when Ray will be brought back to northeastern Pennsylvania.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The traffic around Wilkes-Barre's Public Square will change for the 2025 Fine Arts Fiesta.

Starting on the Morning of Wednesday, May 14, at 9:00 a.m., the traffic pattern around Public Square will change and end on Monday, May 19.

The following traffic pattern changes will be made:

West Market Street will be closed off at South Franklin Street.

Public Square, West Market Street to South Main Street, will be closed to traffic.

(The Hill) -- President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday aimed at slashing prescription drug prices in the U.S. that could lead to the capping of prices at a level equivalent to the cost in similar nations.

The U.S. has paid more than other similarly wealthy countries for prescription drugs for decades, with a 2024 study conducted by the Rand Corporation, a public policy think tank, finding that Americans in general pay 2.78 times more for prescription drugs than 33 other nations.  

MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Moosic man has been charged with 201 felony counts of child porn.

The Office of Attorney General's Child Predator Section has charged Lucas Kelsey, 44, of Moosic, with 201 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.

The Office of the Attorney General says following a cyber tip, an investigation revealed an IP address that led to a search warrant being conducted at Kelsey's home on Springer Street.

DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man and woman have been charged after police say the pair fought with Dunmore police officers.

According to the criminal complaint, on May 11, around 1:00 a.m., an officer was patrolling the borough on Prescott Avenue when they claim to have witnessed a man pushing a woman into the roadway with children nearby.
