SNYDER COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Selinsgrove man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for possessing and disseminating child pornography.
District Attorney Heath W. Brosius announced the sentencing of 25-year-old Robert Bowen III from Selinsgrove by President Judge Hackenberg on Monday.
Officials say Bowen was sentenced to 25 years in a State Correctional Facility for charges connected to the possession and dissemination of child pornography.

(NewsNation) — The remaining classified files on the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy were released Tuesday evening on the National Archives website.
It is unclear which documents are new and which ones have been released unredacted.

A White House official tells NewsNation that 50,000 pages will be on the website and 30,000 pages will be available Wednesday, totaling 80,000 pages.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for the suspect after an armed robbery in Wilkes-Barre Monday night.
On Monday, March 17, at about 10:45 p.m. the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department was called to a Hazle Street business for a reported robbery.
The victim told police the suspect, described to be standing at six feet one inch, entered the business and approached the counter while showing a firearm.

LANSFORD, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Timing and quick work by the volunteer fire department is being credited for saving a building from fire.
On Tuesday, the head of the Lansford Department of Public Works Department told 28/22 News it could have been a lot worse.
The fire sparked around 2:45 p.m. just before the crews were to clock out at 3:00 p.m.
Two trucks were lost in the fire, but workers quickly moved out other equipment, and fire crews spared the building.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Traffic is moving smoothly again after a crash sent eight people to the hospital on Route 33 in Monroe County.
The crash happened in the Northbound lane on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.
The Monroe County Communications Center told 28/22 News Blue Ridge Hook And Ladder was called to the crash involving up to seven vehicles shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Their SpaceX capsule parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico early Tuesday evening, just hours after departing the International Space Station. The splashdown brought their space saga to an end.
