Showing off Scranton's new and improved City Hall

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A historic building in Lackawanna County is getting new life.

City Hall in Scranton underwent significant upgrades.

The stained glass windows have been replaced throughout the building, along with roof tiles and repairs to mortar joints.

It was a 14-month process that cost $4.8 million, with $1.5 million coming from Pennsylvania's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program and a portion of Scranton's American Rescue Plan Act funds.
