LEWISBURG — A Montgomery man accused of punching a game warden at State Game Lands near the lost village of Alvira pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest in Union County Court.On Friday, Michael James Bartholomew, 30, of Sherwood Drive, Montgomery, entered the plea before Union County Judge Michael Piecuch. In pleading no contest, Bartholomew did not admit guilt but acknowledged there was enough evidence for a jury to find him guilty.The plea agreement, if accepted by the judge, calls for a 12-month probationary sentence.
