COAL TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Four people were displaced after a fiery Coal Township house fire early Saturday morning, authorities told 28/22 News.
Officials say crews were called to the intersection of State Route 2026 and Fidler Green Road for a house fire at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday.
The Coal Township Fire Department responded to the second alarm fire along with crews from Ralpho Township, Elysburg, East Cameron, Shamokin, Kulpmont, and Atlas, authorities say.

SUNBURY — A Milton couple will head to state prison after a Northumberland County jury found them guilty Wednesday on felony aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children charges stemming from a December 2023 incident that left a 7-week-old infant with a broken femur and fractured skull.
