A flu vaccine clinic was held at the farmers' market on the Public Square on Thursday.
People of all ages living in the city were able to receive a free flu shot.
The city health department's "Bee healthy" bus was also present, providing free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings throughout the day on Thursday.

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on East Ross Street is serving up classic Greek dishes.
Everything from baclava, to gyros, cheese pie, even dessert.
The festival is take-out only, and pre-orders by phone or online at least two hours in advance are encouraged.

The domestic violence service center hosted its annual Empty Place at the Table vigil inside the Luzerne County Courthouse.
The purpose of the vigil is to remember and honor those who have lost their lives to domestic violence in Luzerne and Carbon counties.
