The Nanticoke City Fire Department held a dedication ceremony this morning for its brand new fire truck and dozens from the community turned out to show their support.
The new truck replaces a 24-year-old engine and comes equipped with the latest safety features, including airbags, side-roll protection, and a secondary emergency brake on the passenger side.

According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, in January, 37-year-old Stacey Ann Dash, of Edwardsville, was employed by a home health service and took care of a quadriplegic man who lived at a home on Carey Avenue.
The victim informed police that Dash "flirted with him and he flirted back" and they engaged in sexual relations, as stated in the affidavit.

The goal of the two organizations is to get books into the hands of kids whose families may not be able to afford them.
The Pennsylvania Key Club is teaming up with the Li-TEA-rary Society to give books to preschoolers across the state to help set them up for success.
