"It's an annual event. It's definitely for a great cause number one, but I get a great deal, and look at how beautiful these are. This is great, and she loves them every year," Swoyersville resident Robert Bohn said.

WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing charges after police say he went to a credit union and tried to cash a fake state treasury check.
According to the Wyoming Area Regional Police Department, officers were called to the UFCW Community Credit Union on Wyoming Avenue for a man trying to pass a fake United States Treasury check.
The man was identified as Abdoul Kafaba, 24, of Wilkes-Barre, who was trying to deposit a treasury check worth $7,098.17 into an account that was opened less than one month ago, police stated.
