A 24-inch water main break on Thursday closed down West Saint Mary's Road, a main road in the township.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A ceremony at the Wilkes-Barre City Fire Department welcomed two new firefighters to the ranks.
Mayor George Brown attended the ceremony to swear in the additions, Marine Veteran Jacob Delaney and Coast Guard Veteran Danial Lapadula. Delaney has his various firefighting certifications, and Lapadula has six years of volunteer firefighting experience.

Luzerne County posted the notice saying there was suspicious activity on an e-mail account associated with the county.

(WBRE/WYOU) — Three men are facing charges after police say they targeted multiple Sheetz in Luzerne County, attempting to pass hundreds of dollars worth of counterfeit cash.
According to the Wilkes-Barre Police Department, the following three men are charged after an investigation revealed they used five counterfeit $100 bills to add $500 in digital currency to a PayPal or a CashApp account:
