EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU)— The 4-2 Pittsburgh Steelers return home to take on the 2-4 New York Jets in the Steelers' second primetime game in three weeks.
The Steelers are coming off a bounce-back 32-13 win against the Las Vegas Raiders after losing to the Dallas Cowboys 20-17 in a game that came down to the final play.
The Jets are in the midst of a three-game skid, falling to division rival Buffalo 23-20 with Jets QB Aaron Rodgers throwing an interception on the potential game-winning drive to seal the game.
A lot has changed in a week though.

LANSFORD, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A fire burned through a home in Carbon County Thursday night.
According to American Fire Company #1, crews were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night to the 200 block of Ridge Street for a fire with entrapment.
Fire Chief Joseph Greco states it started at the end of a section three-row home on Ridge Street.
One person from the home exited outside the porch roof while two others made it out on their own, and were transported to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest for smoke inhalation and respiratory burns,

The city is seeking a state grant to help with renovation.

LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Around thirty people have been charged after a six-month-long drug investigation focusing mainly on two housing complexes on the west side of the Wyoming Valley.
On Thursday, a drug bust led by multiple Luzerne County law enforcement agencies and the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office took place at Hilltop Apartments and Eagle Ridge Apartments.

BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman has pled guilty in Bradford County court for her involvement in the dismembering and burning of a man's body in March of 2024.
Summer Lynn Heil, 37, Harrisburg, pled guilty on Thursday to a felony count of hindering apprehension. She originally faced several misdemeanors charges in connection with assisting Ronda and Terry Parker in covering up the death of Michael Pruitt, according to the Bradford County District Attorney.
As part of Heil's plea deal, she will provide testimony against the Parkers.
