King's College hosting free Halloween-themed science night for families

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — King's College is set to host a free "Things that Go Boom in the Night" Halloween event for families on October 30.

The King's College Department of Chemistry and Physics is offering a free event with interactive science activities, including faculty-led demonstrations.

BENTON TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Lackawanna County Director of Roads and Bridges says construction on the bridge on Earl Clark Road might not start until Spring 2027.

“If I give the Engineers the OK to start the process of replacing the bridge next week and they fast track it, the earliest it would be ready for bid would be the fall of 2026 with spring construction in 2027.” said Larry Lukasik, Lackawanna County Director of Roads and Bridges
