MIFFLINBURG — A Mifflinburg man is accused of strangling a woman following a verbal argument on Aug. 7, according to the Mifflinburg Police Department.

LEWISBURG — A Millmont man who had dreams of becoming a state trooper was sentenced Thursday to one year of probation for illegally filming sexual acts with a 16-year-old girl.Union County Judge Michael Piecuch sentenced Clayton Earl Miller, 23, of Millmont, to a probationary sentence and ordered him to pay $500 plus court costs and fees. Miller, who was 19 at the time of the incident, pleaded guilty in July to a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. The remaining charges, including felony counts of producing child sexual abuse material, were dismissed.
