Bloomsburg Police investigating string of vehicle break-ins

BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police in Bloomsburg are investigating a string of vehicle break-ins that happened Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The Bloomsburg Police Department said they are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that happened on Wednesday, March 12, between 10:15 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police say the streets known to be affected are the following:

The 100 block of West First Street

The rear of the 200 block of West Main Street

The 300 block of West Street

Sixth incident of trespass reported...

LAURELTON — State Police in Milton reported another incident of trespass at the former Laurelton Center in Hartley Township — the sixth report in 12 months.Trooper C. Knott, of the State Police Barracks in Milton, reported that three 18-year-old males from Montoursville were found on the property at 19200 Old Turnpike Road, Hartley Township. The property is a 266-acre vacant complex along Route 45 located in the western end of Union County.The summary charges of simple trespass were filed in the Mifflinburg office of District Judge Jeffrey Mensch. The incident occurred at 6:53 p.m.
