The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement (LCE) released details on recently performed compliance checks.
LCE officers are responsible for enforcing liquor laws and related provisions within the region of the state licensed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

LEHIGHTON, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Ten drivers have been arrested during DUI checkpoints set throughout Labor Day weekend in Carbon County.
Traffic enforcement including sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols were conducted as part of a statewide crackdown on impaired driving.
According to the Lehighton Borough Police Department, from August 23, 8:00 p.m. to August 24, 2:00 a.m. officers pulled over 22 vehicles, and one driver, suspected of driving under the influence, was arrested.
